In March and after many months of planning CRMpact travelled to Houston, Texas to participate in our first Microsoft Convergence event.
This being our launch year we were focused on promoting CRMpact to potential global CRM customers, recruiting new members and sharing our aims and ambitions with key people within Microsoft. With over 10,000 people registered to attend the event that was held over 4 days (Sunday to Wednesday) our expectations were high.
We arrived the Friday evening which gave us time on the Saturday to register at the conference centre, make some final preparation and prepare the booth ready for the Sunday opening.
The event started slowly, as expected on a Sunday, but soon began to gather momentum and over the 3 days we were extremely busy and our new booth stood out from the crowd with its distinctive orange and black branding.
We met over 20 potential members for CRMpact and managed to get some time with key Microsoft people who bought into the CRMpact model. This was helped by the fact that we were exhibiting opposite AxPact, our sister company, which has proven the business model over the last 10 years within the Microsoft Dynamics AX market place. www.ax-pact.com.
Since returning from Houston the CRMpact team have been busy following up potential members, prospects and meetings with Microsoft. So far the follow up has resulted in 8 new member applications, 6 global prospects and key appointments with Microsoft. In conclusion the Microsoft Convergence 2012 met with most, if not all of our expectations and was a great success for CRMpact and its members.
